About me

Hello! I am Paweł Schulz, a designer based in Northern Poland.

I enjoy a multidisciplinary approach in my work, bringing together my interests in typeface design, animation, branding, illustration, website design, and desktop publishing. I work with clients of all sizes, from small entrepreneurs, through to design studios and startups, to large international brands.

Originally my practice centred around graphic design. However, since receiving a Masters Degree in Typeface Design from the University of Reading in 2022, I have become more and more focused on designing typefaces. This has included releasing typefaces under my own name, as well as working as a freelancer for other foundries.

Within typeface design, I am able to design type families for long-running text as well as complex display needs. I design Latin, Greek, Cyrylic and Arabic, and take a keen interest in integrating multiple highly complex font systems into harmonious type families.

As a graphic designer I animate, design brands, illustrate, create websites, and help with desktop publishing work. I often mix those disciplines in my project and occasionally use code, or generative art for additional effect.
