About me:

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with focus on Typeface design and Branding. I design typefaces for Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Arabic scripts. I enjoy both historical aspects of fonts as well as technical – which often includes coding.

I strongly believe that fonts (among other things) are tools for others to be used. This philosophy spreads across all my initiatives. More than a designer, I believe myself to be a tool maker. It does not matter if the tool is coded, drawn or built as a system, as long as it performs intended purpose and is useful for the user.

To make correct tools for modern sensibilities, one must understand the past. Historical research, spending time with letterpress, and engaging with archives proved to be a crucial part of my process while developing contemporary solutions.

I’m also a cat owner which you will learn very fast while video-calling with me.
